Taxis and Getting Around Singapore

Over 15,000 air-conditioned cabs ply local roads and provide comfortable, hassle-free travel at a very reasonable cost. They can be flagged down 24 hours a day on most roads, with well-marked taxi-stands available outside most major shopping centres and hotels. At Singapore Changi Airport, the taxi stand is located just outside the Arrival Hall on Level 1 in Terminal 1 and at the end of the Arrival Hall on Level 1 in Terminal 2 (South Wing).

Now you can call for a cab from any of the taxi firms with just one convenient number. Just call 6-3425-222 or tap out the alphabetical prompter 6-DIAL-CAB, and you will be channelled to all the taxi firms’ call centres, one at a time.

Singapore Airlines Boarding Pass Privileges -The SIA Hop-on

The SIA Hop-on

It’s the must-have card for any visitor – the Singapore Airlines and SilkAir boarding pass. By flashing your boarding pass you can enjoy discounts and offers at over 300 locations in Singapore. You can take a tour at Jurong BirdPark with 20 per cent off admission or zip around Singapore in the SIA Hop-on bus at 75 per cent off the usual ticket price.

To enjoy the Singapore Airlines Boarding Pass Privileges, simply present your Singapore Airlines or SilkAir boarding passes within seven days from date of flight (or on day of travel within Singapore Changi Airport) at the participating merchants

The SIA Hop-on is a convenient tourist bus service that offers unlimited air-conditioned rides around the city and to the Sentosa Island Resort. The bus plies the shopping, dining, cultural, and entertainment areas and stops at major shopping malls, hotels and landmarks. It also covers ethnic districts in Chinatown, Little India and Arab Street.

Hop-on buses on the city loop operate daily from 9.00am – 10.00pm while SIA Hop-on Sentosa Shuttle runs from 10.30am to 6.30pm.

By Public Transport
Suntec Singapore is conveniently accessible by MRT and buses.

MRT:
The nearest MRT Station is City Hall. You can then take a 10 minutes’ walk via the underground City Link Mall. Alternatively, you can hop on board our Suntec City Courtesy Shuttle Bus- pick-up point is outside the City Hall Station entrance at St Andrew’s Cathedral, opposite Capitol Building.

Bus services to Suntec Singapore: 36, 97, 106, 111, 133, 501, 502, 518, 857, 700. Alight right in front of the Convention Centre.

Suntec Singapore is accessible via 2 major expressways: East Coast Expressway (ECP) and Central Expressway (CTE). There are prominent signages directing the way to Suntec Singapore, which is located south of the Office Towers. There are a total of 3,200 parking lots available in the basement of Suntec City, and many more are available in the vicinity.
