Vivek Bhargava-Ceo And Founder, Communicate2

Vivek Bhargava is the CEO and Founder of Communicate2, which started as a full service interactive agency and has evolved into search specialist agency. Vivek has spent ten years in the interactive marketing industry during which he has built expertise in meeting the interactive marketing needs of MNCs such as MTV, Pfizer, Merrill Lynch and large agencies in US and Europe. He is focused on building communicate2 into a 1000 people search firm from the current strength of 155 people. Communicate2 has recently partnered with Isobar and Vivek will play the role of managing Isobar in India.

Vivek learnt to work with Google API’s and building next generation paid search applications, making trips to the UK to get a better understanding of the paid search business and then training his team to similar standards. He dealt with many offshore projects in the UK which included large fortune 100 companies that spend excess of USD 2 million a month allowing him to gain the experience of working for SEM companies.

Vivek also spent 2 years in Dubai, understanding how the media markets of Middle East and Africa function. Vivek has travelled to more than 40 countries on various consulting and project assignments and has been on the board various software and Internet based companies, including a software distribution company which he consulted and formed in Bangladesh.

Vivek regularly speaks at global events such as Ad-tech, SES, SMX, I-com and the largest Internet conferences in India. He is also a regular guest faculty at top technical colleges such as IIT and Business Schools such as IIM in India. He is scheduled to speak the Entrepreneurs Organization university in Singapore November 08.

Vivek has played Table Tennis for the state, is a keen chess player and is an amateur paragliding pilot. He is also the chair of SEMPO (Search Engine Marketing Professional Organisation) India and is focused on spreading the awareness of search marketing in the Emerging Markets and is also a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Organisation. He is a Commerce Graduate and an Executive MBA from S.P. Jain Institute of Management - one of India’s most innovative business schools.
